In a nuthsell – the Afternoon cruise is exactly the same as the morning cruise – it just means you can enjoy not having an alarm clock whilst enjoying your holiday, and there is often a more chilled out atmosphere onboard. Finishing at 19:00 also means that you should be back in your hotel for your evening meal (although food is included).
We ensure that you get personal attention from our friendly 3 man crew and a relaxed and fun atmosphere onboard. Leaving from Puerto Base, Puerto Rico, we cruise along the impressive coastline of the South West of Gran Canaria, enjoying the amazing views and beautiful weather. We pass by the Port of Mogan, the beautiful fishing village, known locally as “Little Venice” as we see the beautiful beaches and dramatic cliff and coves. Onward bound, we head along the protected coastline, to see our Volcanic island´s natural formations, towards a calm crystal clear bay called “El Perchel”
Here we anchor so that you can enjoy a swim in the crystal clear refreshing water – the afternoon Summer sun is amazing in Gran Canaria – and even try snorkelling and take a look at the marine life. Craving fun, speed or adventure? – then try the donut ride and be whizzed along the waves, or be in control of the speed on the Jet-ski or experience the amazing sensation of parasailing – all water sports at a special onboard discounted rate. You can also take a fun journey with a Captain in our speedboat (optional). Or, if you fancy, do absolutely nothing except lie back on the comfortable sun-cushions, soak up the beautiful Canarian sunshine and relax!
Time for something to eat, so be pampered as our crew prepare your meal. Throughout you experience and time with us on board, there is a choice of Sangria, beer, soft drinks, juice, coffee or water available. We care and want to avoid the use of one time plastic – all our customers receive a souvenir reusable drinking glass.
Join Afrikat for sunshine, relaxation and fun with our special resident artist, Saxophonist Ashleigh. To end your amazing experience onboard, our resident artist, the beautiful Ashleigh joins us for the last hour onboard to get us in the Weekend vibe – “Sax me up”.
